Making a factory look like television
NUPI Americas extrudes pipe and fabricates fittings at its South Carolina plant, the systems that keep data centers cool and fuel lines safe. For a New Frontiers feature, we turned their training space into an interview set and filmed the production floor at full speed.

Why manufacturers trust us
Built for the plant floor.
Factories are loud, busy and not built for cameras. Here’s how we make them look like a story worth watching.
Sets from what you have
We turn a training room or shop corner into an interview set, using your own products and equipment as the backdrop.
Light that flatters
Large soft sources keep leaders and experts looking natural, even under harsh overhead factory lighting.
The process, up close
Extrusion lines, fabrication and people at work: we capture the motion and detail that show what you actually make.
Safety on the floor
We follow your site rules and PPE requirements, and work around running equipment and forklift traffic.
No downtime
We film around production schedules, so the line keeps moving while we work.
Ready for broadcast
Clean, well-exposed footage that holds up on national TV, on your website and on social.
About the shoot
How we made it.
The brief
New Frontiers was profiling NUPI Americas and the thermoplastic piping systems behind data centers, fuel systems and municipal projects. The client needed interviews and plant footage, delivered as raw files for their own edit.
Building the interview set
Instead of a blank wall, we set up in NUPI’s training space, with their fittings and piping on the tables as set dressing. Two large parabolic softboxes and a two-camera setup gave each interview a clean, cinematic look with the windows and greenery behind.
Three voices
We interviewed three people, including company leadership and a product expert, so the episode could tell the story from the company’s history to the technology in the field.
On the production floor
Then we moved to the plant: pipe coming off the extrusion lines, large fittings being fabricated and the crew at work, plus exteriors of the facility. Every shot had to be usable on its own, since the client was editing.
The result
The footage went to the client for the final cut, which became the New Frontiers feature on NUPI Americas.
